✗ I’m getting fed up of constantly fire-fighting?

✗ there’s something that’s always ‘front and centre’ as soon as I wake up?

✗ I’ve got plans, I don’t know how to execute them?

✗ My business partner(s) don’t work together?

✗ I need some help understanding and managing my cash flow?

✗ Where do I look to check eligibility for any grants?

Am I entering into a long-term commitment?

At Business Dad I like to be flexible. I suggest committing to 3 x monthly meetings so that together we can identify and agree actions to work on your issues. This length of time will allow us to get to understand each other better and to see some positive results from agreed actions. If at any point you do not feel that you are receiving value from our meetings you can walk away without any further commitment.

How & When Do I Pay?

I will send you an invoice one week before our meeting is due. It should be paid by bank transfer the day before our meeting.

How Much Will It Cost?

I know how difficult it is to run a small business with constant demands on the cash that you generate. Therefore, I’ve kept my rates as low as possible. I charge a fixed amount per session and this is discussed in our ‘Getting to Know You’ meeting so that you are fully aware of the cost before agreeing to embark on a number of sessions. I will also provide a fixed price for specific work such as helping with your Business Plan, Cash Flow Forecast and Grant or Funding application.

What is the Process We Go Through?

The free ‘Getting to Know You’ session will allow time for both of us to ask questions. I’ll want to know more about you and your business as well as what issues you are currently facing. No doubt, you will want to know more about me and my experience.

What makes Business Dad different from a Business Coach?

There are several different offers of support available to business owners from Business Advice, Mentoring, Sounding Boards, Peer to Peer Support Groups as well as Personal & Business Coaching. It is important to choose the right support for your business dependent upon several factors such as the issues that face you, how long you’ve been trading and the size of the business. I understand that many owner-managed businesses work very hard in an environment where you are faced with regular challenges which distract you from long term planning. I want to help you to build resilience and plans to overcome those day-to-day challenges so that you get into a position to take a breath and look at the horizon. It might be at this point that a Business Coach might be the best solution

What Other Services Does Business Dad Offer?

As above I can help you develop documentation such as a Business Plan and a Cash Flow Forecast. Additionally, I can help with grant and loan applications, editing your wording so that you get the right narrative and tone, to give you the best chance of being accepted. Signposting – I’ve worked for a number of years in the local business support arena and I keep up to date with the offers from the local authorities and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority. If any of these offers seem right for your business I will signpost you to that offer and may well be able to introduce you to someone who works on the project.
